Since the beginning of the new year, there have been a series of events that have caused tension throughout our country. These events have led to our society being less united, and that is not good at all for our community. So, I compiled a list of one of the things we can all get together and laugh at: That’s right, Memes. Ever since the 1940s, memes have kept us together through thick and thin. The thing is with memes, or more plainly, overused hilarious jokes, they are for everyone. Memes can be thrown into your life, despite your age, gender, sexuality, race, and religion, and they always seem to bring us together. Jokes like these spread like wildfire; and within a small amount of time, most people seem to already know what they are and how to continue to spread them.
Point is, if there is nothing left in the world to be united about, memes are always there to keep us together. Besides, everybody just loves a good spicy meme. So without further ado, here’s the top 10 spiciest memes I can muster.
- ‘Cash Me Ousside, How Bow Dah’ Girl
Ever since this amazing girl was on Dr. Phil, people have been repeating her catchphrase “Catch me Ousside, How Bow Dah”. This phrase is normally referring to asking someone to step outside and talk about their issues (most likely fight about them). However most people repeat this phrase to catch people’s attention or they use it as a friendly response.
9. Don’t Talk to Me or My Son Ever Again
This meme refers to you defending your closest amigo, or maybe even all of your amigos. The key focal point in this joke is the the smaller item of the picture (the son) is a scrunched, photoshopped, or warped version of the original (the parent).
- Gabe the Dog (RIP)
Gabe the Dog died a month ago and supplied us with some of the best borks of his lifetime. Gabe became a meme, because his owner posted videos of him barking. With these bark tracks, people thought it would be perfect to mix and autotune Gabe’s borks into different songs and themes. Sadly, those bark tracks will no longer be coming. May Gabe the Dog rest in piece(s).
- Salt Bae
Salt Bae is a Turkish chef that went viral, because of his amazing skills in cutting and cooking certain meats, while doing his signature move, sprinkling salt over the cooked specimen. This magnificent man was able to get attention just from throwing salt…that’s pretty good.
- Arthur’s Fist Meme
The Arthur’s fist meme is a perfect representation of what we feel sometimes. Even though that fist-balling anger is swaying you, we should come together and discuss solutions for that issue. Not just by balling up your fist.
- Joe Biden Memes
These Joe Biden memes gave us life through the election period. By showing different way Joe Biden acted back then, it brings out a happier and funnier side to the president and vice-president. This leads to more comic relief within our society right now.
- The Bee Movie
“Do you like Jazz?” only every time Barry blinks, the video speeds up by 1%.
- Here come dat Boi
Dat boi is another great explanation of how wildfire on the internet can influence our everyday lives. One moment I saw a single picture and giggled a bit. The next day, people were yelling and singing the Dat Boi song in order to spite my knowledge of memes.
Harambe was such a spicy meme, that he was idolized and worshiped, even after his death. Songs, montages, and articles portrayed him as a god and a wonderful gorilla that meant no harm or they portrayed him as dangerous (not really true but).
- Pepe the Frog
And finally, the classical yet persistent meme: Pepe the Frog. This meme has been here for so long, that the variations of this frog are endless. Pepe the Frog variations range from the frog’s different emotions to what Pepe does on a daily basis.
