Welcome to The Advocate, Forest Grove High School’s Student-Run Newspaper. We’re made  up of a team of students of all different grade levels and backgrounds. Although we all have different interests, we all share a passion for student voice. Our hope with the Advocate is to not only create a News Outlet for our high school, but create a platform for student voice. A place where students can read about upcoming events, but also learn about the diversity in our student body. We hope The Advocate can become a place where people come for News, Ideas and Inspiration. We hope you enjoy it.

If you see me at school I’m probably running around, coffee in hand, freaking out about something. But anyway, I really hope you enjoy our paper, thanks for reading!! 🙂

Kimo Fong: Photography Editor

The studies and general actions of playing music or making food have always been things that have really allowed me to let loose. Whether it be playing in a band or a full orchestra, the “go with the flow” kind of feeling is always very relaxing and fun! Photography has been another passion of mine; capturing memories and allowing people to see their moments remembered has always given me a certain feeling of fulfillment that motivates me to continue doing it.
